Les Résistants - La Table, Paris
One of our highlight while visiting Paris last month.
We walked by on the way to our hotel and I was seduced at the first glance by the interior, the magnificent huge windows with an industrial look.
I booked a table for a Sunday lunch, I wanted to discover this restaurant without knowing too much about it.
Les Résistants combines 3 places - an organic grocery store, a small restaurant/bistro and a “finer” restaurant La Table.
Their concept is simple - to find for the best local and organic products in France and bring them directly on your plate, without being disfigured.
It is an authentic, convivial, generous and transparent course of action, which is perfectly translated in the place and on your plate.
The Chef, Maurizio Madaio’s(cooked at David Toutain’s) cuisine is a celebration of the product and the producers above all.
It is simple yet elaborate.
The Menus they offer are blanche menus evenings and weekends, for 4 courses (49€) or 6 courses (65€). They do not offer brunches anymore since a couple of weeks. They also offer lunch menus for 24€ and 28€.
These are incredible prices considering how delicious and carefully prepared the dishes are.
Thank you to the team and especially to Aya for her warm welcome and wonderful service.
A must if you travel to Paris.
