One day in Arles

Arles, a place I have visited as a kid impressed by its arena and its architecture, the south of France flair.

A place which I visited while living in Marseille in 2013-2014, and discovering the region, its delicious cuisine and regional products and enjoying the sweet South of France lifestyle.

This time, we decided to stop by for the Photography Festival, we were there with our 7 year old son. There were so many places to stop at in so little time.

We found that with a child, it was actually nice. If you liked, you could get a map and collect points by visiting exhibitions stated on the map. You would have it a stamped at the entrance of these exhibitions. And it worked. Ok, the pace was sometimes too fast for my taste, but we managed to see quite a few places.

The city has developed to be a beautiful and cultural city, full of vibrant restaurants and hotels, everything is done with taste and the vibe is young and dynamic. People are friendly, the region is amazing.
I was very impressed with the Luma Foundation and the Parc des Ateliers, which is a former railway wasteland covering an area of 27 acres. You can visit the Tower designed by Frank Gehry and seven old factories from the 19th-century industrial heritage.
