Gateau au chocolat
This is another great recipe, super easy and quick to make, it has been my favourite dessert for the last few weeks.
Kids love it as much as grown ups. It is not sweet, I do not use butter nor flour.
Instead I replace those ingredients with margarine (the brand Alsan) and used rice flour. It works perfectly. It is moist and very chocolaty. Love it!
Pre-heat your oven on 175c° (fan oven)
Using a springform, place baking paper also onto the sides. The cake is moist and it’s easier to take it out and serve it when placed on baking paper.
In a water bath, melt:
250gr Margarine
With
280gr dark chocolate. I used 200gr 70% and 80gr 85% chocolate. Adjust according to your taste.
Once it is melted, set aside to cool down for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, using a hand mixer, mix until it has doubled in volume:
4 eggs ( L)
With
230gr organic light brown sugar
Then mix the melted chocolate into the eggs mix.
Add:
70gr (Rice) flour
Pour the cake preparation into the springform and bake 25 minutes on 175c°.
Then take it out of the oven, allow it to cool and serve with some crème fraîche and vanilla.
Enjoy!
